Abdominal Pain
Pain can arise from various digestive organs, including the stomach, intestines, liver, gallbladder, or pancreas.
Identifying the cause early helps guide effective treatment and prevent complications.
Dr. Tieng will review the location, duration, severity, and pattern of your pain, along with your medical history and related symptoms. Depending on the findings, evaluation may include blood tests, imaging, upper endoscopy, colonoscopy, or other diagnostic testing.
Seek urgent medical care for severe or sudden abdominal pain, a rigid or swollen abdomen, heavy gastrointestinal bleeding, fainting, or pain accompanied by a high fever.
Treatment depends on the underlying cause and may include dietary changes, medication, management of an existing digestive condition, or additional testing and follow-up care.
